I was cleaning up parts from the "489" case differential that a previous owner installed in our '65 Formula S. I noticed that two u-bolts are threaded for a distance of 2 3/4" (top of photo) and two others for only 2 1/4" (bottom of photo). Both pair are flattened and have the knurling where they contact the differential tubing. No question here, just thought I would note the discrepancy I found.
