Where do i get U bolts that fit my 8 3/4?

What ever you do do not use round u bolts, you will crush the axle tube.

Be sure yours have the flattend area around the tube as Alaskan_ta said. I have an otherwise perfect housing that is crushed on both ends at the perch

Thx,bought some tried to put them on & drove myself crazy i never put the shock plate on or tightened them

That was more than likely because they were over tightened. Torque on them is like 45 ft lbs

i wanna say i got mine from vatozone a while ago (a while being a decade, give or take)

i think they were trailer axle tube U bolts


(after googling them, the got dormans in the Help section for 10 bucks each...but i know i bought a set)
