I just switched out my 7 1/4 rear end for a stock A-body 8 3/4. Just wondering what U-joint I need to make the swap?
U-Joint Size??

Tyr Fryr's Inc.
Their usually the same size. Almost all A-bodies used the smaller 7260 U-joint. If their not the same size measure and post the width of each. You'll probably need a shorter driveshaft cause the 8-3/4 pinion yoke sticks out farther. You don't want to bottom the driveshaft yoke in the trans. or you'll destroy it.
