Ultrasonic trim cleaning?

Did anyone tried ultrasonic cleaning for chrome or stainless trims and emblelms? I’m thinking of buying one for carb cleaning, but don’t want to ruin other stuff. They pretty cheap on Amazon, trims and emblems aren’t

Tried it on emblems, I was worried that might be too harsh, but then decided it can’t be worse than it is now
