Under Dash "Creeper"

Many years back I worked in an auto accessory shop and did a lot of alarm installations. At the time I had an adjustable under dash creeper from Snap-On. I have no idea what happened to it over the years but recently had need of one working on my Pontiac.
New commercial ones are $100 and up!
Some scrap lumber and a bit of vinyl and I have just what I need. I made the height to fit my Pontiac, but I can easily screw on a piece of 2x4 to add height. The board is long enough that my butt is supported.
I'm sure I'll get use from this working on my Valiant.
Hope this helps someone, it sure beats laying on the door sill!

I use an extra wide milk crate and a slab of plywood. I like the adjustable leg idea.

Wow. Great idea! I'm pretty small so I can usually fit on a floorboard, but with age I find it less interesting to test my spinal flexibility getting under the dash. I will be making one of these.

I wish this would work in my Miata. I have to take the seat out and take the top off to get under the dash in it haha

I love this. May have to make one out of 1" square steel tube. Make adjustable legs on it.

I do the same when working under dash due to back issues. Only 4 bolts on Bucket seat.
