Under the Carpet Plug?

Hi folks,

Searched but cannot find what this connector is for? Black and white wires. I know the other wires running across are for the seat belts so I am thinking this is for the transmission.

73 Duster 340, 4 Speed manual.

With the wiring diagrams you can trace the wire color and location in the car.


Some years had a seatbelt interlock, and I seem to recall some had a seat sensor?
