I'm sure this would look new to some but... such tooling has been around for many years.
In machine shops where bar feeders are used every bar gets a pointed end. Old engine lathe dedicated to this task is ideal. The tool is mounted in a collet at head, the bar stock is routed through a chuck attached to the turret or whatever tool post.
