I had just bought a center section 8 3/4 a body with a large yoke and my orig one on the car is large 3 5/8 but the cap size is different on the new yoke.
Any ideas i thought they would be the same since they were the same lenth.
I think mine are dana 1330 u joints 3 5/8th just change the cap or do i need a special joint or just change the yoke on the rear whicj i really didnt want to do?

Need a 5-796 joint if you have 7290 in the shaft, you're sure you have a 1330 series end yoke ? it has tabs on the yoke to center the joint ?

A u-joint is available through most auto parts stores that is large on one side of the cross and small on the other. I had one on my 1970 Dart and I think it was a TRW brand......that was 25 years ago.

I used the staggered ujoint from Neapco S3 527. Looks like the the parts distubutor put there own ## on it

s3 527 would be something some one made up, 5-527x is a spicer number for a 60 to 90 series joint, neapco number is 2-0527

Thanks guys i had a mopar Mechanic friend of mine switch the Yokes for me $20 bucks not bad right.
