anybody have one they could measure? the outside diameter of the lid is what i would like to know, as well as the filter diameter. my air filters will be stuffed up into the scoop, Hemi with a crossram, and living in the Pacific Northwest we do get some out of the blue sky rains and am wondering if i could squeeze a pair of them onto the throttle bodies....or if anybody has some suggestions beyond this thing for $2K.....

Are you talking about the air cleaner that would be on something like a 68-69 340 Barracuda/Dart?

If so, no way could you get 2 side by side. Maybe you could do it with the small diameter early style.

If you see some options here, point out what you want measured and I'm sure we can get the info.

i have spent some time hunting around on that site. seems like pretty much everything I have looked at take the same air filter, the same one as the max wedge air cleaners, and they are just to big. i know that k&n makes a filter with a offset base, but the idea of 2 open element air filters exposed to the rain just does not sound good to me. in the past i have tried one of there "dry wraps" on a different vehicle and was not to impressed at the results....that is why i was wondering if any of the "unsilenced" air cleaner assemblies use a 14" filter, was hoping to use the k&n bases with mopar lids??? looking at the k&n site it looks like the filter for the unsilenced mopar air cleaner is only 12.5" in diameter, so that idea will not work..
