i have a 70 dart 360 i recently had the transmision out of it and and it sat for a month once i got the trans back in it i put some headers on and i finally just got it back together. i went to turn it over and nothing until the battery died twice. now i know on ignition probs to check the ballast and coil and all that but could that stuff just go bad from sitting there. or could anything else have just gone bad the car ran great before pullin it in the garage so i dont know.

now i found a plug behind the distributor that went to the orange box to the distributor unplugged and felt dumb but i plugged it in and still nothing i am not familiar with mopars ignition system so im just chasing wires and checking voltage would that mopar orange box go bad or what does it even do im making 6.75 volts to the coil and ive checked all the grounds on the car and my ballast on one side has 10.5 volts and on the other has 6.75 so im pretty sure thats good i have bought a knew battery cause the old one burnt out and im not sure if i should just start throwing new parts at it or what again it ran when i pulled it in and its getting gas just no spark.

Obvious stuff, but we all overlook things:
1. When the battery is fully charged, are you getting spark to the plugs?
2. When you move the throttle forward, is the accelerator pump squirting fuel?

thanks for the diagram i followed the power threw the loop and there was a pinched wire behind the alternator going to the coil fixed it and she fired right up woooohoooo!!!! thanks again now if i could only get a decent rear end in for a decent price ill be gtg
