Here are some with the back glass back in with the old rubber, what a bite that was. Here are some of the headliner also, I know it didn't come out perfect and it's still a little dirty also. It was my first time doing a headliner. The flash also shows that I need another coat of black paint also. I still have two bars to weld in down the frame connecters.

That means a lot, thanks. But this progress is been over 10 years. So it's been real slow.

The front tires are:

Draglite, Aluminum, Polished, 15 in. x 3.5 in., 5 x 4.5/ 4.75 in. Bolt Circle, 1.75 in. Backspace, M/T's 26X7.50-15 3.5-6.5 rim size 6.3 side wall width 4.8 tread width 26.0 tall tire

The back tires are:

Draglite, Aluminum, Polished, 15 in. x 10 in., 5 x 4.5/ 4.75 in. Bolt Circle, 7.5 in. Backspace, M/T's N50-15 345/50-15 8.0-11.0 rim size 13.0 sidewall width 11.8 tread width 28.0 tall

Well I'm hoping to have the Front glass in this week. I didn't even know that you could get the tinted glass for the early A's that just too cool. Her are some more.

I need to take more pictures, it seems to get me pumped to do some more.

Is this a strip only car? Or do you plan on cruising it on the street? The reason I ask is I was planning on getting those same exact front rims and tires. I was told the 3.5's would be too skinny for the front. And mixing radials on back and bias plys up front would be bad. How do you guys feel about this?

Moparlee- sorry if I'm stealing the thread. I'll go start another topic if you wish.

No, go ahead. If I'm getting ready to run a bad combo I want to know about it. Thanks.

Lee

Mopowers, I think that I'm running Bias all the way around.

Also the rims that I'm running in the front are not recommended for running on the street. You don't want to take sharp corners with a lot speed with these rims that I have on the front. What I'm hoping to do in the future is put slicks on the back rims. Then have steelies made up for me for street tires with the orginal hubcaps.

moparlee, your car looks beautiful, Your headliner install looks as good or very close to a professional install. I put my own headliner in also(first attempt) and It didn't come out that nice. I have a few more wrinkles near the back. I just got in a hurry I guess. I will need to revisit it this winter. Keep the pics of that "bluetiful" car coming.

where did you get your scoop, and was it alot of custom work to get it to fit. This would look awesome on my '66 cuda.

Great job Lee. You know of course that a lot of us are very jealous of the progress you're making. :)

Thanks, guys. The scoop came off a hood that didn't get sold on ebay. I forget who was selling it now. It's a factory piece, got the mopar pentastar on the underneath side.

Hey, man you got me envious on that X-block. I just seen the post on Moparts, that's just too cool.

One of these years I would like to get an R3 Siamese 59 degree stock deck height block and get a 440 small block. I'm dreaming. I'm hoping to build the 392 first.

I'm still impressed with your car in the 12's with 3.23's!

Thanks for compliments.

i got REAL lucky....

a drag project went cold, and it sat in someone elses garage till it got in the way... right place at the right time - someon else turned it down cause of the 318 casting on the side...

got an x block
3.75" stroke crank ( brc - raduis journals and all )
set of harland sharp rckers, and shafts

for 100 bux....

now back to your car.... i cant wait to see what it will do down the 1/4 mile!!!
