Today was slightly busy :D. For those who read my intro, the plans are to take the running gear from a 75 Duster 318/auto into my 69 Dart s6/3spd.

We got a late start today, but still managed to pull the engine/tranny (all in one piece BTW), K-frame, and rear end from the Duster.

I did make the decision, I'm bringing the power steering from the Duster over, but the A/c is not joining.

I got some numbers if someone would educate me on exactly what I have to work with. I"m still not up on which part #'s indicate which parts.

From the tranny, 036-4 and the tailshaft had 3681600-8.

From the rear end, 2852905, and below 10825.

If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

There are numbers on the driver's side, the flat area just above the pan on the tranny. (stamped) Those are the numbers that you use to I.D. the tranny. Does the rearend have an inspection cover on the rear?

Sorry for the delay, I'm slackin..

I found the info I was looking for. The rear is an 8.25 and the trany is a 904. Works fine for me, I can do exactly what i want to with those lol
