Upgrading fuel hat

I have this old style Fitech at the time a hyperfuel in-tank pump. I need to upgrade to a 440LPH pump and want to know if I could swap in a 440LPH pump in my current hat or should I just swap in a new hat from Fitech hat that already has the 440LPH pump. Price difference would be little over $100.
