Hey everybody, i have saved up some extra cash and want to upgrade the combo of my dart so that everything is a little better matched than before and was wondering if i would be taking a step in the right direction.
this is what i have now:
Small Block 360
Stock Crank but has been rebalanced
Keith Black hypreutectic pistions Compression ratio is 10:1
Fully Ported out 2.02 1.60 valve Mopar X Heads
Comp Cams Hydraulic Flat Tappet Cam XE284H-10 (lift is at .510)
1.6 Ratio Comp Cams Aluminium Roller Rockers
Holley 670cfm Street Avenger Carb
Edelbrock Air-Gap intake
MSD igniton everything

727 Transmission
stall at 2500
8 3/4 Powertrax 3.55 Posi
26.6 inch tire
SS Springs in the back

i plan on buying a 750cfm Speed Demon, and a Turbo Action 3000rpm converter

Would these two items be better matched to my combo or should i go a little lower on the stall and maybe a 650cfm Speed Demon? This car sees the freeway and the street a lot, is a 3000rpm converter going to make my car horrible on the street?
Thanks

I think you lift is more than .510 with 1.6 rockers... I have 1.6 with the xe274 and i have .524 lift

yeah the lift for the cam with 1.5's is split its .507,511 with 1.6's i would imagine is somewhere around .530

I think for a street car your choice of a 3000 may be a little much at the stop lights. sound like your slipping the clutch. The rest of the combination sounds good. As long as you've got so much tied up in the heads have them cc matched at least on the combustion chambers,
