I came up with this to remove ball joints from upper control arms that are off the car... Weld a pipe to 2"x2" square tubing (I had 1"x2" so stacked two together), shove it into your vehicle's reciever hitch, use the special socket and a long cheater bar and off you go. Note the added stop to keep the arm from rotating.
