I started the fun task of rebuilding my front end and find that on the driver's side, the upper control mounts have some through rust where they attach to the frame rail. Looking at the mounts, I also wonder if they are bent??. The bumper seems to line up centered on the control arm so I don't think it is pushed back. When I look at the passenger side it looks more straight. I was likely going to have to do some welding to stabilize things but wanted to see if there are pics of the mounts from a known good set up so I can see the goal. Also not having much luck getting those bolts out. I've read about burning out the bushings and maybe try to cut them with vibrating cutting tool. BTW, the rest of the rail looks good. I currently have the floor pan out and just welded in a new crossmember so I can see the rest of the rail's condition. Thanks for your help.

The UCA mounts are not perpendicular to the frame rail. Yours do appear to be bent a little bit, but the angle they sit at relative to the frame is normal.

That frame rail looks pretty rough, you're going to have to replace that entire section, not just the top part. It might be worth trying to find an entire rail, just because sectioning one in requires more work than attaching an entire rail like the factory did.
