I have a 70 Dart and I have installed a set of Firm Feel tubular upper control arms. The problem im having is that i keep tearing the rubber part of the bushing out where the grease goes. The car has the bump stops in and also is hitting the stops and not ridding off of them, this im sure of. Now the car does lift the wheels at the track and im wondering if the wheel is just hanging down to low and that tears the rubber our of the joint. If this is the problem how much should a wheel hang?? is there a measurement that people use say from the lip of the wheel opening when the tire is hanging?? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

You can always put limiters between the upper and lower control arms. Thay way they don't hang as much. I think it's when it comes down that is causing the problem and like snake said, stiffen up the shocks if they are adjustable. JMO
