I had started another thread on who to buy the fiberglass body parts I needed for my 68 Dart race car from. You can read up on it here. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=278463
Well I decided to go with US Body, they were very local to me so I figured I could pick the body parts up to save on shipping and if I had any problems with the parts I could handle them face to face. I placed my order on 5/30/14 and i just picked everything up today 6/27/14. Not bad, it only took less than a month. I bought a bolt on hood with a Hemi hood scoop, pair of fenders, deck lid ( pin on) and a front bumper. Final cost was $1500.00.
Their Quality was outstanding,Gel coat looks great , and overall finish was very nice. Now I need to haul all the parts to Milton Fl. to Stripmasters where Owner Ray Yonkin will let me know how they fit and how easily they are to finish and paint.
They didn't make the rear bumper for 68-69 Dart cause they didn't have a good core to make a mold off of. Well I solved that problem and took them a very nice straight bumper to pull a mold off of and in return they are making one for free for me.
A friend of mine, Mike and I spent two days there getting the grand tour and a walk through on how their parts are built. I'll admit there is a whole lot more to it than just mat and resin!
We met the owner Eric Long ,the mgr. Ian Denton, And one of the most positive, happy go lucky guys, Jim Moore who says he is just a "tech", but It appears to me he is the guy that makes things happen on all phases of production!
These are all Car guys, Ian is into VW's big time, Jim has a love of Mopars, and Eric is a lover of all hot rods.
While I was there I bought a bunch of Mopar Fiberglass hoods that were left overs or canceled orders and were stacked up out side in their lot that is slam full of fiberglass molds.
I bought about a dozen hoods that I'll let go cheap, some with scoops some flat. I'll make a list and post them on here soon.
If your in the market for anything fiberglass, give them a shot WWW.USBODY.COM
Since they are so close to me I can help you with any questions or check on the progress of an order.

I forgot to mention that they are fixing a hood for the friend of mine that went with me there. It was a 71 Dart hood, it had a front corner broke off from a accident, also with the dual scoops. And by the way they are going to make a mold of the two scoops so they and I can sell some of them to customers.

I'm about to start working on my duster again and have been looking at ordering a pro front end from them. I'm glad to hear you had a positive experience with them and I hope I will.

Glad to hear this. I was planning on going with them for my Hemi hood and this gave me a little more piece of mind.

What ever happened with the extra hoods you bought? Oh and where did you post pics of the hook installed on your Dart?

Most of the hoods I sold. I still have some B body hoods left. The Hemi hood for my Dart hasn't been installed yet.
