I'm in the beginning stages of a hellcat swap for my Dart. I'm thinking the way to put this motor and trans in the car will be with the K member from the bottom so I was looking at the USCT K member stand at Carlisle and it looks perfect for the job. As good as it looks, I really can't justify spending $700 for a tool I will use once then take up valuable space. Any chance someone out there would rent/loan one for a few months? I can leave a deposit and pickup/return when done. I'm in southeast PA near Philadelphia if anyone is close.
Thanks,
Bill

harbor freight sells furniture dolly’s that would accomplish the same deal. Plenty strong enough I have my 400 long block sitting on just one that I move around the barn.

I used furniture dollies as stated above. Assemble the engine and transmission, mount on the K-frame and put the entire assembly on the dolly, raise car with your cherry picker and roll the assembly under the car. Use 4x4 blocks to stabilize if needed. You can even get a small dolly for the tailshaft of the trans so it can roll along easily (assuming you have a smooth floor)

Here's how I did it. The HF furniture dolly held the weight with no complaints.

I used a HF mechanical jack to hold the transmission.

Those and 2x10 wood I have used that to remove / install engine trans a few times. Cheap and works good

Me getting ready to drop car down on eng / trans. Done it a few time. Harbor Freight furniture dollies with 2x10 wood across them.
