I've heard that some make a new hole 1 inch back from the existing to help center the tires .
have any of you done this?
i called them and he said that's ok to do but probably wont be necessary to move the rear shackle tube back further.
just wanted to see if any of you guys have done this.
its a 68 barracuda.

I moved mine back about .75" to make room for taller tires. A couple things to pay attention to depending on how much you move it back (besides shackle angle) would be the shocks hitting the axle tube at any point in the suspension travel and gas tank interference.

thank you!
he has new superstock springs and wants to lift the rear end up really high to fit some big meats.
hopefully the height will keep it farther from the tank.

i put a new hole 1 inch farther back.
i could always go back and use one of the ones provided if need be.
i doesnt look like i can push the rear one back an inch.
how does your shackle look after moving it back 3/4?
