Used Brand X Engines

My daughters Chevy Prizm's engine is seized. Where is the best place to buy a used engine?

I have bought a used engine on Ebay for another car previously and it was a good engine, but I am not seeing one that is in my price range on Ebay right now.

is it a 2.2L?? junkyards are full of them. do some research and you'll probably find they are all the same but with different intakes and what not (bolt ons)

i dont know... but 2.2's are very common...

The 2002 Chevy Prizm has a Toyota 1.8 liter engine in it. I am in Amarillo. Shipping it in isn't a problem.

Chevy Prizms are just badge engineered Toyota Corollas so keep that in mind when looking for parts/engines.
