V8 throttle cable question M body interchange.

I have access to quite a few F,M,J body V8 mopars in my boneyard. A body cars are drying up. I have been taking what i need from the As but am in need of one throttle cable, and maybe a spare ot 2. Theres a bunch of fifth aves, furys, volares etc. Most with V8s. Will their throttle cables work on an A body, are they too long, too short, or just about right. Just dont want to pull a couple of these next time i'm doing the junkyard crawl only to find out they arent going to work.

Length isn't the only thing.The cars of the 60's-70's the firewall hole is round.At the end of the 70's-80's the hole is square but you can file the hole for it to work. Slant six cars usually have the longest cable.
