V8 & transmission for my '73 /6 Dart

Teetering between selling my Dart and doing an engine swap. I am looking for a complete v8 with tranny for a novice level drop in and go. Currently have a stock /6 and tranny. Prefer to see engine running before sale. Located in eastern Virginia.

I have a 318 in a 75 Duster, but the trans has no reverse. If you want to pull it, you can take it for $250.00!

The swap job is very simple and preeettty staright foward. You may want to change the rear up to a 8-1/4 though. Read through this and see for yourself.

I can't help on a running drivetrain, but theres a few for sale here. Theres gotta be some in Va. somewhat close by to you.

Got a sweet running 318 w/4 barrel/727 combo in an 80 Cordoba that I will be pulling prior to parting out the car. Can post a video on maybe youtube. What's it worth? Don't really know. Am in western VA about 20 miles south of Winchester
