Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out how to get my car air to switch vents...defrost to floor, etc. I'm new to all this heat and a/c stuff, so excuse the learning curve. Anyway, in my 74 duster I swapped out the /6 with a 340, and pretty much everything under the hood was removed. The A/C components are all still gone, but I'm trying to get my heat to work. So what activates/changes the vents from def to floor? I'm guessing it needs vacuum to the 2 lines coming out of the firewall? If that's the case, can I run them right off the carb?
