Hi,

I'm doing body work on my Valiant and for some reason, previous owner cut inner fenders of and replaced them with a tube.

Here is a picture:

when I got the car I made inner fenders from fiberglass but I'm wondering if I should replace them with correct inner fenders (more stiffness ??).

AMD has some for sale:

The question is are they enough or is there something else I need?

The main problem is that the cap between the front fender and door is to big.
You can see picture here:

Not the best picture but you get the idea.

Here is a picture I found on the web and I can't tell if there is something more I need or not:

Chris.

I am in the middle of of putting AMD inner fenders in my duster right now.
They fit decent.
Keep in mind there is about a 4" piece of angle sheet metal that welds to the firewall that the inner fenders weld to, this is not included with the new inner fenders.
Also look at you radiator support it also has about a 2" flange on the radiator support that the inner fenders weld to.
PM and I can send you a few clear pictures, my inner fenders, and radiator support are not welded in yet, so I can take them off easy enough for any picture you may need.
