am changing my:coffee2: 6 to 273 in my 65 valiant. i'm told my 904 off my 225 wont fit the hi po 273. i need a fly wheel and 904 that will bolt to my 273.i was told the 65 hi po 273 used a different trans.even better i already have the floor mounted shift maybe a 727. if so what models will bolt up?i'm south of atlanta in columbus ga.

Slant 6 904 has a different case from the LA V8 904, so you'll need a 65 V8 904 if you're planning on using your original dual cable shifter. You can use a later 904 if you use the shifter adapter kit from Imperial Services that allows you to use your original shifter. That's what I'm doing in my 65 GT convert and wagon.
