Valve seals 360 heads

Thought I would replaced the valve seals while I had the heads off. Intakes have bit of carbon build up on them. Seals that came in the gasket kit are umbrella for the exhaust and positive for the intake (attached) but all the seals on them now are umbrella type. Heads are 70-72 360.

Which seals are correct?

I believe the umbrella seals are factory, the smaller seals are for heads that have been cut down to run more cam, you gain some clearance at the retainer at full valve lift.
 
I've always been schooled that the short seal goes on the exhaust and the long on the intake.Personally I use the long seal on both the intake and exhaust.

You want the positive, long, seal on the intake since it opens under vacuum. The exhaust opens under pressure, so it won't suck oil down the guide like the intake valve.
