valve seals

Got a pair of 906s i guess the exhaust valves have external seals. I bought a felpro gasket set and it comes with new valve seals. Can I just pull old seals out and tap in the new or do I need machine work done to them for all internal seals.

..................u need to remove the valve springs, retainers and locks.....no machine work necessary...........kim.......
