I'm getting no ready to start changing my stem seals this week without yanking he heads...it's a mid 80s 360....my question is what deals to use. I'm reading
Conflicting reports about milling guides and such. Can I use positive viton seals without any milling? Or do I stick to rubber? I think the 80s engines had the viton type already so I should be good. But this car had a brand new short block and the heads were nice before assembly, when I look at the seals some of them look brittle and maybe not even completely seated. Heads are stock; valves, springs etc....any and all accurate info is appreciated, only wanna do it once!!!!
