Valvebody installation

Got my reverse manual valve body in yesterday from cope racing trans. However no installation instructions. I don't want to start going into the tranny without some kind of instructions. Is there anything I need to know before starting? Would it be easier to install the tranny on the engine stand first?

you can leave it in the car, but if it's out already then a stand or bench is good.. da ya have an inch pound torque wrench?

No, but I can get one. I have placed the tranny on my workbench. Can I stand it on the bellhousing and go from there?
