Van Charger !

I pull up to my favorite bar in my Barracuda just now and what should be sitting out front but a 76 Van Charger !

I like how the side door opens...but you would almost have to park in a handicapped spot to use that door in a public parking lot!

I believe Van Chargers are factory conversions .

That one's not. That's a Ford front axle. Dodge's used a passenger side drop.

Thats what mine has also.Dana 44 8 stud Ford with GM 2500 spindles and brakes.They were full time 4x4 but I converted mine to free wheeling hubs.

After doing a search, I am seeing them both ways. I wonder if the conversions used the Ford axles while the factory 4x4 used the Dodge factory axles? They did make some factory ones, although not a ton.

Front diff looked like a 44 at first glance and I thought it seemed small but I am no expert on these Van Chargers .
