I had removed the vent window frames from my Cuda and noticed they were loose from the actual steel frame where the rubber snaps in. So I pulled the rubber and noticed the brads had broken. I tried to smash the others down but they broke off. I guess there is no other way of attaching this frame other than drilling holes and using rivets and washers.
So, I drilled a hole through the cast piece and did exactly that. Used a quality steel rivet and small rivet washer and it worked perfect! The only thing is the black headed rivet is exposed on the front of the vent window frame. You can't see it unless the door is open. Thought I would share this!
