Must sell my rare 71 Dart GT that is #051508-01 on the 7071 Dart GT registry. This is still an 80% original paint car. It has an all new Legendary interior, headliner, carpet, door panels, arm rests, seat covers, and a new vinyl top. This is a 230HP version 318 with 904 auto, power disc brakes, factory a/c converted to R-134. It has a new radiator, a/c condensor, compressor, expansion valve and capillary tube, hoses and belts. I got this car from the original family in LeMesa, Ca where it sat in a barn for 18 years before the son began to restore it. I wish his repair shop had rebuilt the original engine but it was faster and easier for them to just replace it. Crap! It runs very strong and smooth and is helped by the upgade to a Mopar electronic ignition and dual exhaust that is quiet, but yet has a nice tone to it. What it needs to have done is paint and minor ding repair and some rust in the spare tire well. It has a new sending/pickup in the gas tank. Tires are good along with the front end that you can let go of the wheel and it will drive itself. It is missing the GT emblems and the trunk emblem but I am sure they can be found. This is a center console, bucket seat, floor shift car. It could us a dash cap and a dash speaker for the working radio, and a glovebox liner. This is a highly optioned car in dark copper metallic. This car is worth $18-20,000 finished. I am asking $9500. Car is located in central Florida zip 32725 I can e-mail pics if my attempts to post pics does not work. 386-960-5524 Fly into Orlando or Daytona, go to Disney and drive it home.
