Hi everyone. Well started to tear down the 69 wss. Need to order front and rear glass and rubber seals. Steele Rubber Products, don’t have a listing for my vin code. LL23.I thought it was a Custom Hardtop Coupe. 1969 Western Sport Special. Anyone know if a GT hardtop rubber will fit. Same roofs aren’t they? Thanks for any help.

The steering wheel is on the wrong side for you folks!

Do you have to convert them to right hand drive or can you leave them as is? Seems like I remember someone on Moparts.com, who was either in NZ or AUS buying a USA car and having to switch it to right hand drive. That was 20 or so years ago though. Looks like you got a nice Dart to fix, so hope you enjoy it!

If they are over 20 yrs old. The car that is. You can leave left hook. New cars have to be a collectable or 2 door. Then special permit. Rust is the biggest hurdle to get through the certification process. I’m a sucker for them. My wife and I have 3 Mopars and 2 Chevy.

Yes in Australia as well they have to be over 25 years old to remain left hand drive, or have a special dispensation, my father bought a used 1955 Chevy that was 5 years old and had to convert it to right hand drive, as it had been used as a US consulate car it had the special dispensation until it was sold.
Also it can vary from state to state

I know a guy who bought a 69 Dodge Daytona that was in Australia and brought it to the USA. It had been converted to right hand drive, and he has left it that way. Nice car, and has been in a lot of magazines.
