Vin locations?

I thought I read some where that the vin is stamped on the K-Member? Do they happen to put them on the rearend housing by chance too? Just trying to see if my k-member and reared belong to my car.

Neither will have a vin number on them.

Hopefully you didn’t pay a premium for your car if the seller indicated the k member and rear end were numbers matching!
