vin question

recently acquired a 67 gt ran the vin through decoder engine came back invalid fifth digit on vin plate and title both 0 anybody know new to a bodys but longtime b bodys

Post the first 6 digits off the car, as it appears on the V.I.N. not the title.
I'll bet it's a ''D'' not an ''O''. (273)
A lot of mistakes were made back in the day.
