I have a 69 valiant 100 that has has the original L2T (tan) interior. The door panels are in good shape except for being faded. I'm trying to find a vinyl dye that is the correct color to match this. I've looked at all the online vendors and can't find what looks like a match. I don't have an SEM dealer anywhere near me to take a panel in to match up. Has anyone on here found a match from SEM for this color?

The 15753 Lt. Oak is the closest on that chart. When I look at the cap colors online they don't look quite the same. The cap color looks more gold. I'm hoping someone else has ran into this before. I've noticed that the different panels like the metal part of the dash, dash pad, metal part of the doors, door cards all look a little different color from the factory. The metal parts of the door are more gold colored than the metal dash. It may be because the dash is flat sheen and the doors are gloss sheen, IDK. I've had this car for 30 years and it was garaged its entire life so the fading at that time was minimal. The door cards and kick panels are fading now so they could use an update.

PPG will custom mix vinyl paint in your color , expensive though.

PPG and Dupont both custom mix Dye. I clean well and clean well 2 more times. Then shoot with adhesion promoter. Bull Dog comes in spray bombs.
Have changed vinyl top colors and out last the cars guys had. Ok some were rough on cars. But 10 to 25 years at times.

I've read that vinyl dye is just lacquer paint. Looks like I'll be making a trip to a paint store to get what I need.

There's a company that makes restoration interior paints and dyes specifically for older chrysler cars, but I can't remember the name to save my life....hopefully someone will chime in
