Vinyl roof A pillar trim placement

Does anyone have a close up picture of the proper placement of the little chrome trim piece that goes at the top of the A pillar? It separates the vinyl top from the paint on the A pillar.

Are you talking Dart/Barracuda/Duster? I'm guessing Dart due to your avitar picture?

I'm not much help, but I'm wanting to know the same answer.

I've searched online and have found pictures that show they came installed at the top of the "A" pillar and also at the bottom.

I don't know which is correct.

The previous po had removed the vinyl top prior to me getting and there are no signs of any holes at either end of the "A" pillar on my 72. He must have filled them in.

Thanks guys! 1966er, I believe the 68 Darts had the trim at the top of the A pillar. That is my opinion and I could be wrong. Original dealer pamphlets seem to indicate that.
