Vinyl top install.

I have a guy that owns a body shop and he wants me to install a top on a dart. My question is does the glass have to be out of the car? I'm pretty sure it does just not sure.

I would say no, although it would be nice to remove the trim clips (on my Duster, the original roof was actually screwed down under the clips) which sometimes requires removing the glass to get all of them out (I found, on mine anyways, that some of them couldn't be pulled with the glass in because I couldn't get a screwdriver in well enough to turn them).
I would imagine a lot of replacement roofs don't get screwed down under the clips, and that should be fine too...

That's what I was thinking. They had to go under the clips. Thanks.

Just had mine done and he just had to pull the moldings, glass stayed in.
