Vinyl top?

About to put on thevinyl top and have ordered the clips that go under the chrome trim and after looking at them i need the studs that hold the clips to the car. What are they? Are they a rivet ? I guess one could use a small screw? Where do i get the studs? How do they fasten? Any help would be appriciated. Thanks. I'll check back after the daughters RN graduation.

I use a rivet to hold the moulding clips. Just hold the moulding on the car in the correct place and trace around the moulding with a marker. Drill a hole in the center of your lines and pop a rivet though the clip. I used this method for the last 21 years of restoring cars with no problem.
