Has anyone ever had both cams side by side and seen a big difference in lobe location? Also is the firing order the same on both engines?

Well, both are RB blocks so firing order is the same. Unless it's a 6 pack 440 the normal 440 cam will be a 1 bolt, but I believe the HEMI will always have a 3 bolt cam.
I do not believe there is a difference in lobe location. I could check and see tonight after work.

No they are different. Otherwise, you could just use a hemi cam in an B/ RB or vice versa

Just laid a HEMI cam next to a 440 cam, lobe location is the same and firing order is the SAME!!

You did not ask if the cams would work in the different engines!

The front bushing journal on the HEMI cam is wider to accept a different 3 bolt cam gear.

.......so is the hemi cam longer........what if the 440 cam is 3 bolt.........kim.....oh ya a 440 single and 3 bolt is the same.............I've always heard the spacing was different
