tx guys..i have used a comp Xtreme energy cam and there was "some" noise...not too noticeable if you have loud exhaust.I called comp and they said expect it to sound like a sewing machine and they were correct.
Seems most haven't noticed much noise with the Voodoo line.

I believe this has to do with the different valve spring seat pressures that they recommended to use. Lunati recommends a higher spring pressure. I talked to Comp a few months back and one of their specialists recommended a different spring then the 901's for the 262 and 268 XE cams, he said to use 120# seat pressure with a 350# spring rate. This is what Lunati recommends to be used. Comp recommended their dual or beehive springs for those cams due to the steeper XE lobe ramps.
