W2 heads Vs W5 besides weight is a big increase in performance?

Is there a big difference in potential with the W5 heads over the W2 and cost factor

I was told the W5 head was the best head you can buy for a small block this was told to me buy the man from indy at the mopar meet in calumbis ohio.in 05.if that helps......Artie

They can be made to flow better. They are made of aluminum, which dissipates heat better, but that can actually decrease performance if the compression is left the same. They are much less expensive to repair if damaged.

Plenty of guys have gone really fast with W2s.
