I have a set of W2 810 casting heads that i am planning on using on a SBM build. When i bought them i also got 2 sets 1.5 ratio rocker arms and shafts. I was looking over the rockers (one iron set, one Mopar performance blue rollers) and noticed the stands and the shafts are offset drilled. Whats the reason for that? Is it just to clear the valve springs or for geometry correction or both?

They probably have longer than stock valves, the longer the valve the farther in the rockers have to be moved so the rocker hits the center of the valve.

The offset holes move the shaft away from the valves. If you are using the correct length valves and no one has killed the stands on the heads or the blocks, you shouldn't need to shim anything. But, stuff gets worked on so you need to check.

As posted a million times already .... contact B3 after you get it set up .
If you dont have valves already you can find various length and stem diameter valves to suit your needs.
