This project is finally almost complete. It took 8 years to complete. My dad and I worked on it on my days off and since he retired. This is the first father son project we ever worked on together. With his recent medical development of Alzheimer's his recall of this accomplishment is faded for him, but not me

Congrats on finishing the project with your dad.

I went through the Alzheimer's ordeal with my mother about 10 years ago. It sure is a difficult thing to deal with. Hope you took LOTS of pics during the build. I found pics were helpfull in "jogging" mom's memory about certain events from time to time.
