Want a 78 Amp alternator, What year model do I ask for

Having fits with my charging system. Overcharging. Just need to buy all new since what I have won't be enough amps anyhow for the dual electric fans and other stuff.

I have a brand new flat type 2 pin voltage regulator I will be installing.

Want to get the 78 amp squareback alternator to bump amps.

My 318 was made somewhere between 78-84 if that makes a difference. No a/c installed.

Is this a Direct bolt on? Currently has a roundback.

May I ask what year, model and engine size vehicle I need to ask for to get the 78 amp alternator?

I see that they talk about the 78 amp but they don't say (if Im correct) anywhere in the post what vehicle I give the guy at oreilly's to find the 78amp alternator.

Unless I'm wrong you just ask for the high output alternator.
