'65 Cuda
I collect old weird stuff. Well, one of the things I have is an animation cell from the Uniroyal Tiger Paw Tires and the drawing that was made for the cell.
As most of you might know, the tiger was suppose to be a '64 GTO.
The tiger is running from the Uniroyal plant. The "cell" parts are 2 layers. One is the tiger and the other is the yellow explosion lines used in another part of the animation.
The Uniroyal plant and road is just a drawing on a background.
It's signed and a sequence number is on the bottom of them both so the animator would know where it went.
I just thought I'd share it with you guys. I also own the very first contract for Sonny and Cher to appear on American Bandstand in 1965. It's signed by Sonny, Cher (in her maiden name) and of course Dick Clark.
It's laminated on a table top from one of Dick Clark's restaurants that went out of business. It's kind of sad really. A piece of rock and roll history laminated on a table instead of hanging in a museum.
