Wanted: 36 tooth speedo pinion gear for 727

I need a 36 tooth speedometer pinion gear for my 69 727. Had one and now that I finally need it I can't find it. UGH!!!

BTW: Some have the number of teeth cast onto the back side. Some don't though. Maybe worth looking.

36 tooth is red. All speedo gears will have the number of teeth stamped on it as well. The 26 and 41 tooth speedo gears are also red.

Check with your local dealer. They were still avalible a
couple years ago. Got a couple for myself. Different gears
for different tires.

Thanks Brian. I'll probably have to come up with a part number though but it might be worth a try. Last time I went to the dealer for anything they didn't have records of anything older than 10 yrs. he said.

I have 34 tooth and it is green. I also have a 71 parts manual and I can look about any part no. you need. Let me know.
