I'm looking for a 8 & 3/4 rear end for a 74 roadrunner. Preferably not to far away, but i will travel a little ways to get one. Does anybody know what other cars i could get one out of that would fit? Any help would be appreciated, thanks
 
Any 71-74 B rear should work OK. 63" total axle to axle

You could grab:
C BODY
'65-'69= 61.75"
'70-'71= 63.0" (Chrysler & Fury)

IMPERIAL
'65-'66= 61 15/16"
'67-'69= 62 5/16"

E BODY
'70-'74= 61 5/8"

A100
'65-'70= 61 3/4"

D100
'65-'71= 63 15/16"

Put the perches where you need them.
 
If you want one that will drop on 73 and 74 are your only choice because of the iso rear suspension .

A friend has one from a 73, but it's on the east coast , he only wants $100 for it .
 
is a newport a C or B body ??? i believe its a C body,,i think it is wider if its a C body, some one measure the distance of your leaf springs from left to right or measure the perches,,,then the total width,if the spring perches are close,,73/74 wheel well openings have plenty of room if the housing is a little wider
