wanted: open element air cleaner

looking for a used open element air filter assembly, holley, mopar, direct connection, k&n...... doesnt need to be pretty, just cheap. Filter is not too important, if its got a K&N that would be alright, otherwise im probably going to get a K&N for it anyway. thanks

I've got a spare lid, and base kicking around in my garage. Nothing to brag about, but add a filter and you should be good to go. Just pay the shipping, and you can have it. I'm pretty sure, you'll want to scuff it up, and spray some rattle can on it. Maybe engine color? PM me your address if you want it.

would your bottom plate fit the 14x3 filter? if it would i probably can work somthing out. and how much does it drop, i dont have very much room under my hood, Is it going to sit in about stock air assembly height?

This was on our tow rig, and the base isn't a drop base. I didn't think about hood clearance. That might be an issue.

I believe drop bases may be available seperately from a few manufacturers.
